Be aware Tab trailers are not allowed at Sea Perch RV in Yachats Oregon.  Guess we aren't big enough??

You couldn't pay me enough to stay in a place like this. Have you looked at the satellite views of the "resort"? I take a forest service or BLM campground any day, thank you very much.

I've heard about places like that… Always kinda bugged me. Seems it's not really keeping with the "spirit of RV life". By that I mean, one of the things I love the most about "RV life" is the diverse variety of people you come in contact with out and about.

Personally, I love staying at sites mixed with million dollar rigs and thousand dollar beaters and everything in between. Anyway… thankfully I've always had good luck with municipal/county owned RV parks, public land, even the occasional rest stop when you're just wanting to sleep.

Let the high and mighty elitist have their way in their ivory towers… I'd rather hang out with actual genuine people.

Honestly, my dream has been the reverse. I'd love to see a campground that accommodates only tents and RVs up to 20' in length, with a communal campfire/eating area.

Pretty much any forest service or BLM campground in the PNW fits that description, sans a communal area. Most of them were built many decades ago before the advent of huge RVs so those simply don't make it around turns into the camp sites. No power, often no water keeps the hi-life types out :)

In some cases, these types of restrictions may be tied to various municipal zoning codes.

Simple, there are hundreds of other places that do allow us to stay, easy to find also. The only time I've "truly" been affected is some friends of ours were staying in their Class A during the summer at a campground like that, near our home, and we wanted to visit with them for a weekend, and we weren't allowed, so we had to camp elsewhere and commute to visit them for dinner (and they commuted to visit us one evening).

Well they do have the right to set rules for what type campground they want to be. Some places do not allow cassette toilets and others will not allow certain other things. Personally I hate to be parked next to a permanent RV resident as a lot do not keep the area well kept. Just have to weed out the ones you cannot visit.
