Mat Outside your Tab

All Pro Adventurers sells a couple options for mats/carpet for outside your Tab.  One made by Jolax and the other by Isabella…. Without putting my hands on it, hard to determine which one to purchase.  Anyone own these mats for your Tab? What do you like or dislike about them?  Thanks!

Hi there @roborau, and welcome to the forums!

We have a 400 but use a simple lightweight nylon coil type mat as it is inexpensive and cleans and dries quickly. You can get any size that works for you.

Ground conditions vary so much at sites and the surface can be hard on mats, so we didn’t invest a lot in ours, and got it from Amazon

I too am in the market for a mat. I was looking on Amazon and found some rubber ones with spaces for drainage and could double as an outside shower mat. However after reading the reviews I'm rethinking those. Several people mentioned that the cheaper rubber ones actually melt in direct sunlight and make a sticky mess that gets tracked into the trailer.  So... my advice is be sure and read the reviews before you purchase one.

We bought a charcoal gray 6’x9’ Prest-o-Fit rug from Etrailer.  It fits nicely under our awning and is easy to store.  It is lightweight so, if it’s windy, we have to weight it down on the corners.  The Jolax looks like a really nice mat but pricey.

We went cheap and it has worked well. This outdoor mat has lasted a few years. Water doesn't pool on it and it's easy to hose off and dry. Has stakes for each corner to keep it down. Comes with a nylon case to store it in. Have used it four camping seasons now and it's just starting to wear on the corners. https://amzn.to/48gcXiz

Thanks for sharing that link. We purchased this rug and used it this past weekend for the first time. Worked great!

Howdy! We purchased an "indoor outdoor" carpet from Wayfair. Pretty colors, not much money. We have used this for 3-4 years. No fading, easy to sweep, hose off and dries quickly, I think, polypropylene. We store rolled up. Easy peasy.

We went cheap as well from the local WalMart. They have several sizes of waterproof rugs in a couple different areas of the store ranging from $21-$79. This one was in the RV section and has performed well. Even after a soaking rain we just shook it out and it folded back up nicely when packing up to leave.

We bought a cheap plastic-straw mat on Amazon. It works surprisingly well. It dries quick, easy to sweep off.
