Do Snap Pads impact grounding?

Do such  pads set under the stabilizer pads and hitch support eliminate any grounding when boon docking ?  Without them, there is definite contact with the ground but perhaps not as effective as a ground rod. When plugged in, the RV is effectively grounded through the electrical distribution ground.

Don't think so. Since the roof skin is aluminum on our campers and there is also some aluminum framing I think the Faraday Cage Effect comes into play which means if a direct strike hits the metal exterior (like an Airstream or aluminum-roofed trailer) the current travels over the metal surface, discharging to the ground, similar to how your car protects you. If it didn't then you'd have the same problem anytime the trailer stabilizers weren't lowered. So think it's ok.
