New isotherm fridge won’t latch

Isotherm fridge model CR130EL in new NuCamp Haven. The door would not latch securely and at the top of the door frame, there is a piece that shows two areas where I suppose the latch engages: one says “TO LOCK” and the other says “TO VENT”. This piece would slide back and forth, and when I was checking it out it came loose and fell into my hand. Anyone had similar issues?
