I recently had trouble getting the hitch on my 2019 T@B400 to fully engaged and lock into place. This happened right after a vendor moved my trailer in their lot. The top photo shows the prongs on the latch that insert into slots in the hitch as the latch slides closed. My problem is that when I closed the latch the prongs were forward of the slots preventing me from locking the hitch with a hitch pin. I determined that latch was bent forward at the front part and thus pulled the latch too far forward to allow the pins to go into the slots. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to bend the latch back into position using vise grips and an adjustable wrench. I that the metal would be too hard to bend but I bent back into position easily. Otherwise it would be $325 to replace at the local RV shop.
