Hello. My old 2015 needs brakes and probably drums. I’d love to go with the 2 1/4 drums for the 3500 lb axle because they are a lot cheaper than the 1 3/4 ones on my 3000 lb axles. Tried Al ko in Germany Dexter around the states and e trailer, as well as my trailer shop here. No help. According to the specs the spindle is the same (now) but no one knows if it was the same in 2015. Bearings, bolt pattern and backing plate mounts are the same but spindle length is the limiting factor. Anyone swapped 3500 brakes from 3000?
