Storage Question

Moving our Tab to a new covered storage facility that has electric in my spot. What is the best way to connect it to keep battery charged? Previous space was covered but offered enough sunlight for the solar to effectively tend the battery. This spot will be too enclosed to rely on solar. Do I keep the battery disconnect off or in the on position? Full EMS surge or will a cheap surge protector do? I have a PI 30PTX. Just wondering if that level is needed full time for just battery on standard plug? Also, thinking that if I have standard 120, I can run the Alde on very cold days when not winterized. I live in Texas so there are not many of those. Appreciate any insight on the best way to store it so I am not finding a dead battery all the time.

@KaomRuns If your battery is in the front tub and the terminals are accessible, then I believe a small trickle charger should be all you need to keep the battery charged. Keep the battery disconnect off to prevent any phantom loss.

thank you. Would you disconnect the battery even on shorter times? I tend to use it every 3 to 4 weeks so it doesn’t sit in for too long. Wondering if I need to disconnect the battery each time

@KaomRuns My background phantom battery drain in my 400 is about 3% of my Lithium 230 Ah per 24 hours. If you can just turn a battery disconnect switch that would be easiest. You can lose a lot of battery in 3-4 weeks with "nothing" turned on.
