'23 T@B320 Door Jamb Cover/Insert

3D printed these cover/inserts. We found this area awkward to walk across and keep clean. Less so now.

I suppose it's hard to appreciate the full functionality of this cover/insert from the picture I posted. One of the things it does is keep your full body weight off the weather stripping (that seals against the door when it's closed) reducing the chance it'll be damaged. This weatherstripping is awkwardly located to say the least. On a typical vehicle or RV the bulk of the weatherstripping is usually on the door (vs. the door jamb area).

I might add, on those occasions when we're barefoot (i.e., at the beach), the narrow, vertical weather stripping, and the thin, vertical channels for the screen door are very uncomfortable to walk on. With the insert in place no worries—-plus, all the sand tends to not fall into that big trough between the weatherstripping and the screen door channel. Much easier clean-up.
