HELP water line fillings and "locking ring" needed

When I purchase my newer TAB 320 the seller discovered cracking in the flooring and decided at his own expense to replace it and in doing so the RV dealer discovered the top layer of plywood on the interior was in bad shape. My first concern was the Alde fluid or unit had leaked. But I found no real evidence of that. What I finally found while tracing water lines was an elbow fitting inside the kitchen cabinet area where an elbow was loose an basically came apart and the fitting didnot have a locking ring on it. There was no damage under the fitting but damage and water moved for near the Alde and between the Alde and the bathroom and into the plywood to the center of the floor. My guess was in talking to the owner is that last winter was colder than normal, he had only minimally drained the system and there was enough water left to freeze freeze in the are of the fitting and force it part. It didn't appear seperated when I found it but the locking ring was missing and it was loos enough that water could have escaped.

All that brings me to where am I able to buy these fitting so I can replace the fitting, lock it in place and test my water system?

We need to know the year and model of the trailer. A picture of your broken fitting will really help. Sounds like "maybe" you have a clam shell and one of the "John Guest" adapters fell away? Or, one of the connections to the sink faucet has a pex connector fall off? A bit more specifics will help, since there are all sorts of weird plumbing in the trailer with different adapters and fittings.

Sorry for not getting back , I have been away and then working on replacing a failed brain in my newly purchase Maxair fan. I will get photos of the general area an up close of the fitting and hopefully a picture of a what I described the locking ring. Yes it is a Clam shell.

    Thanks much

1st photot shoes ring in a locking collar on another fitting. 2nd photo shows the fitting the the lock is missing on and I suspect that fitting was forced off , releasing the water that caused the water damage. 3rd photo shows the are inside the clam shell, under the counter where the fitting fell apart when I was checking fittings to see if I could find a source. I'm can fix this but I need a source to go to for the fitting and some extra lock rings….HELP plaease

Push the fittings back together again. Where the missing red ring is, put a piece of solid copper wire in there and give it a twist like a bread twisty.

That had been my backup plan. There is a couple of rough spots on the blue male side and I thought I'd lightly clean that up with some emory cloth to ensure a good , clean grip by the bite grippers in the union?

If you do that, make sure you don’t disturb the surface where the oring seals. Personally, I wouldn’t do any sanding.
