Inverter placement

I am using a 2000/4000 watt charger/inverter on a 320ah lipo4 battery (in a 23 nonlithium 320). Ive currently got it and the battery in the front box next to the propane tank. Last trip it rained buckets and I can assure you the storage area is not waterproof. Luckily although it got wet the inverter is still inverting. I am considering putting both next to the air8. My concern is that the heat generated by the inverter fan will be working against the a/c. Should I Duct an inlet/outlet for the inverter or am I overthinking it. Or do you think I should leave it in the box out front while weatherproofing.
