Easy Mod to Reduce Solar Radiation from Roof Vent

I know this type of thing has been done, and discussed, by many, but during this hot spell I finally got around to addressing the issue. Using slightly adhesive vinyl "sunscreen" (shown in pic) I covered the outside of the roof vent. Easy to do, just apply and remove any extra with a utility knife. Hardest part is setting up the ladder - I also put a packing blanket on the solar panels while working. This really cuts the amount of solar radiation coming through the stock fan cover - but still lets in plenty of light. Just a suggestion if the heat has got you down.
