cheap side tent or awning- North Face Wawona Front Porch Vestibule
hi, i bought one of these on clearance from Sierra trading post. for 25 bucks plus shipping. after stitching in some rope to fit the keder rail, it hooked up pretty nicely. It was an easy straight sew with no cutting needed. PROS, it was cheap, easy to modify, and seems to do the job pretty well, has 2 side doors, one main door. CONS the tent it was designed for is shorter than the camper so there is a gap on the side, the door slightly rubs on the top, it does not work on the clamshell galley hatch (too short) not sure how it will do in the wind. We have a 2014 CS-s I think boondock editions will be taller and that might be more of an issue (see side photo). I believe when we stake it down, we'll be able to pull some of the slack out. It is not perfect, but seems to be pretty awesome for the price. https://www.sierra.com/the-north-face-wawona-tent-front-porch-vestibule~p~7vgyn/?filterString=s~tent%2F
