2027 Lincoln Rock State Park - Washington State (Previously East Meets West)

After 10 wonderful years of hosting the Washington State East Meets West at Lincoln Rock State Park, I am stepping down from hosting this fun event, and my support team are joining me. I want to thank both Mr and Mrs TwoCougs, Craig and Mary, for their assistance and support all these years. Craig has made all the wooden memento's, a different one each year. Mary has been my right hand, helping in so many ways. I'm very grateful for them both!

We announced our "retirement" a year ago, have offered to help someone else take it over. We have had no one contact us.

At the 2026 gathering many of us acknowledged that meeting up each year is something we want to continue. We have formed lifelong friendships here.

It was decided to continue to meet annually each May, the weekend BEFORE Memorial Day. Every year the dates will be different, but it will always be this same weekend. Most will book their reservations Thursday to Sunday. We won't be booking the shelter.

Again, we are grateful for each of you who have attended over the last ten years. We hope to see our friends, new and old, again next May 20-23, 2027.

It's a shame that no one was willing to step up. I enjoyed it the year I went.
