New Tires for 2021 NuCamp 400/LT vs ST

Just wanted to share our experience with replacing tires on our 2021 NuCamp 400 Boondock. The trailer came new with Rainier Apex trailer tires. In our fifth year of ownership, a sharp rock punctured one of the Rainiers. Rather than buy one new tire and have a mismatched set, we opted for two new tires. Since the Rainers are about $330 each plus installation and not as widely available, we shopped for alternatives. We decided on the Falken A/T4W light truck tires priced at $150 each. We purchased these at Discount Tire. The Falkens look great with their rugged looking side wall and tread. The Falkens also have a higher speed rating than the Rainiers. After a year and approximately 10,000 miles of travel, we can say we are very satisfied with the Falken tires. No noticeable difference in towing or performance in any way.
