Victron Connect app in CarPlay?

Hi Folks,
I noticed recently that the Victron Connect app is showing up in CarPlay. However, launching it reveals a blank screen. Does anyone have any information on how one might view your connected devices in CarPlay? I scoured the 'net and the general consensus seems to be that, no, there is no direct access via CarPlay. But if that's the case, why is there a CarPlay app?
