Keder rail challenges on Tab 360
Keder rail problem For our 2025 Tab 360 we bought an All_Pro awning. Worked the first year, then this year jammed and had to be cut free. The problem is the Keder rail (picture attached). at top of arch there is a 4 " keder rail piece spliced in that has a 1/4 inch offset on left end, less offset on right end. All-pro awning will not pass and Jams tight there. How can this be fixed, can the short k
eder rail piece be hammered back in place? How can you keep it in place? Also found you cannot start the awning at the right end of Keder rail since slot is too narrow - figured to use a Dremel tool to enlarge it. Ideas needed. Now have to repair All_Pro awning as well.

Disclaimer: No direct experience with this style Keder Rail.
Older model years have an aluminum 'standard vendor' rail.
Newer model years have this nüCamp custom extruded plastic(?) style. Many owners are reporting this type of alignment issue.
I'm not aware of anyone sharing their repair/fix.The ideal solution would be to remove and re-install the Keder Rail section with correct alignment. I do not know how this style rail is attached to the camper sidewall. A help request to nüCamp Tech Support might provide information.
If the section cannot be correctly aligned.
Consider methods to grind/file the ledge/step inside the channel to a ramp/slope. A Dermal Tool with a small grinder tip might do it. With the step removed/reduced the addition of lubrication may also help; white grease or soapy water or ??I need visuals to understand even simple ideas . . . So:

I have a 2024 320s I bought this year. I made my own awning that attaches to the keder rail. Saw a video somewhere on how to make one. Anyways ran into the same problem. The keder rail is aluminum so easy to cut or file. I took my oscilating saw and evened up the seam where the 2 pieces meet. Also tapered the part of awning that slips into the rail a little bit so it would slide past it easier. You can touch up the black paint on the rail or leave it like I did. I won’t rust.

Hmmm, we have owned 2 different T@B’s and haven’t seen a rail that looks like that one, but if it is attached the same as our previous one’s it is held in place by cabinet head drive screws. Should be able to simply loosen the screws and tap down the offending piece in line with each other and tighten back up. We had some issues with broken off screw heads sticking up in ours which I was able to cut back and file down so we could use our rail…..hope that helps! Blessings!
