Looks like it might be time for a replacement...
LED would be nice I think... Anyone tackled this repair yet...?

Replaced unit with LED unit...while I was at it, I replaced both brake light bulbs with Sylvania LED bulbs...now all of the bulbs on my T@B are LED...Yeah!!!

No short detected...very cheap light imho...bulb was touching housing so melted plastic...things are good again...nice quality replacement makes me a happy camper...needed an excuse to change everything over to LED.
