Front Outback rack.

I will be picking up my U Max trailer in about one week. :) My question is for those with the outback aluminum front rack. Do you find it useful, safe to haul gear? My dealer says I can get one installed for $500. I really like the looks of it.

    Yes and Yes. But be cognizant of the round TAB pull handles when sizing anything.  Those handles may preclude opening a lid on a box for example.  I have a Rubbermade Tuff box on one side and two 5 gallon water jugs on the other.  Really appreciate the extra storage area.
