We are so happy with our storage boxes that arrived today

They look great!  Do they have any struts to hold them open?  Do the T@B handles get in the way?

I did not ask for struts to hold top open.  Yes, the T@b handles are a bit in the way when opening the lid, but not enough for concern or usage limits.  Could have had them made smaller, but wanted max size.

Hi B@T T@B!!  Holy cow, I've been looking around for someone to do this for my Outback T@B.  Can you tell me the actual dimensions and also the price?? When I contact the company can I say they I saw yours' online?

Price was $160 each, which was a bargain compared to other boxes.  The size I chose was 19" wide, 14" deep, 16" tall, shoe box style, with two hasps.  They are made to order, so must be patient, but well worth it.  Mark was super responsive and great to work with by email. Smaller would be cheaper.

Oh, and you could ask for lid to open sideways to avoid the T@b handles, something I didn't think of!

Not a bad deal for custom I think.  Is there a bottom? How does it attach to the platform?

Yes, there is a bottom.  They are like shoe boxes with hinged ld.  We plan to bolt them to the platform ourselves using alumunim plates.

I wonder if they can make a lid that attaches on either side, but can be lifted off entirely (similar to my cheapie Rubbermaid Action-Packer)?  Another alternative to avoid those T@B handles might be to indent the outside top slightly so it clears the handles.  I'm sure that would really increase the cost.  Damn, they sure look great!

@outbackAZ. I hadnt really thought about the Outback handles, so that's on me.  At the web site, there are other alternatve styles.  Fortunately, we can open the boxes enough.
