Jeep Wrangler - Electric Brake Controller

1. Is it better to have a proportional brake controller installed by Jeep dealer or trailer dealer?

2. What is the best location in the Jeep to install it?

    Can you tell me the brand and where it was mounted in the Jeep?  Do you find it a good location or would you prefer another location?

    The trailer dealer installed mine and I had them mount it just below the 4 wheel drive knob to the right of my knee.  I've seen several people mount CB radios in the same spot.  I like the fact that it is easily accessible if I ever need to adjust the settings on the fly.
