Update on new campground construction at Atwood

Went camping at Atwood for a few days last week. First thing i did after setting up, was to go check out progress at the new campground and group area. Much to my surprise the whole area looked just as it did when we were at Tearstock. No progress at all. Seems the State shut the whole project down. Too many trees cut in brown bat habitat.

Looking at the new maps for the Atwood Master Plan, it looks like they are relocating the group site.
