Installing bamboo floor

I have been considering installing bamboo pre-finished hardwood flooring in my T@B. Some of you have installed similar floors, but I cannot seem to find any detailed discussions. The main questions are: Should it be glued to the original vinyl floor? What type nails/fasteners did you use? Any advise would be helpful.

Here is the write up I did a few years ago when I installed laminate flooring.  It floats, no glue needed.  I placed it right over the vinyl, but I would recommend placing the foam padding between the two floors, something I am considering redoing.

Thanks! Looks like you used nails. Do you recall what size & type of nails?

Had anyone installed a laminate floor?  Did you take the benches out or kitchen cupboards?

I installed laminate (click stop).  Did not remove anything, but added cove molding strip along base instead.
