Just went out to the t@b to put some things away and plug her in for a charge and the access door above the toilet is hanging open. I have no idea how it opened or when. I just can't close it. I was considering loosening the screws that hold the hinge, buy decided to ask.
Thank you,
Denise

Push harder, listen for a click. I usually have to close it for my DW.

An RV Tech bent the tab just an itty bitty bit so that I can now close the cargo door myself.
I admit to having to leave it open a couple of times in frustration, only to come back 15 minutes later with a cooler head and was finally able to close it before he took two seconds to fix it for me.Verna, Columbus, IN

You may have same issue as shown here: http://tab-rv.vanillaforums.com/discussion/3807/max-s-water-pump-access-door-in-shower-latch-wont-grab
No amount of pressure would work because the plunger wasn't clearing the top of catch plate.
Filing down did the trick for me. If you decide to do that, stuff something back there first to catch the filings unless you don't care what ends up in the "abyss".
If catch plate height is not the issue, then bending it towards you should help.

I had the opposite problem, the catch was too low and would just barely grab the latch. It would close but then pop back open after a while. It would never stay closed on the road! I had to remove the door and shim up the bottom latch area in order to fix it.Jon & Angela | Florissant Colorado | 2017 Outback S

Well, the door is now closed. DH could not close it, wound up bending the plate a very little bit, then using a wonder bar to lift the door just a bit so to clear the latch. Took all of your advice and a slow stew, one more tool for the bag! Thanks so much.
