Door Hold Solution

There has been discussion in the past on holding the trailer door open and this is something a member did earlier and it works fine. This is a simple fix that works and you can cut and bend a piece of metal rod to whatever length you desire, depending on the application. The current door stop is mounted horizontally and if you drill vertical holes through the existing stop assemblies this works great.

Thanks Mike - and that was OutbackAZ (I got instructions from him to do this and am very pleased with the results - whenever I put the visor up now, I can still have the door open)!Michele, Tucson, AZ. TV - '13 F150 & '16 T@Bitha special order.

Thanks Michelle, but I got the idea from Tony on this forum. BTW, make sure you put some tape on the door and T@B where the drill chuck might rub against it.2016 Outback 320
