Replacing old Alde thermostat with digital? (Alde Manual PDF included)

I searched for "Alde Digital" but didn't get any hits of folks that have done this themselves.
Is this a dealer install or is it something us brave T@B owners that would like the digital control panel can do ourself without too much pain and worry?

Try "digital thermostat". I know I explained how I replaced mine a couple of times.

I went from the analog to the digital last year. While the wiring is straight forward, mounting the digital control to the wood trim piece was an extreme PITA.  I struggled with trying to get the screws through the back of the digital control panel, then through the wood trim piece, THEN through wall of the tab.  Keep in mind the larger hole you need to cut may prove problematic when aligning the new four screws for the digital panel. I found this mod the most frustrating of all. Also, I really don't think the digital provides any added benefit over the analog. In hindsight, I would stay with the analog.

We have a 2017 out back and I hate the digital one. The lite display nevwr shuts off i have to put a pillow in front of it.

That must be a setting. Mine shuts off after a couple minutes.

I'll definitely check it drives me crazy. Also the blue light on the t.v.

Unlock the Tool Menu (p. 12 of the Alde manual) and set Standby Brightness to OFF (p. 14.)

Here is an attached copy of the Alde Manual (bottom) and some instructions too that will allow you to put that pillow to better use.
