Fantastic Vent Cover Install Question

I looked at a number of YouTube videos showing how to install the fantastic vent cover and all were on bigger camper and all had screws through the fantastic fan base itself into the camper. You just removed 4 of those screws, applied silicone caulk and installed the cover on the brackets.

I just climbed up and looked at the top of the t@b and there are no screws along the bottom and the brackets can only use screws along the base. I just want to confirm that I have to drill those holes for it. Have people who have installed the cover had to drill holes or am I missing something?

    If you call the vent company, they will email you a template on where to drill to install the cover on our Tabs. Either Marvin or Ed from NuCamp installed mine for me. Either one of them may be able to advise you.
