üCamp Schedule

Monday Orientation starting at 6:00pm, factory floor tour and then happy hour to be held at The Barn of Sugarcreek.

--Shuttle bus ride from Winklepleck to nüCamp.  There will be two trips by the shuttle bus to get everyone to nüCamp. The first bus departs at 5:30 pm. The return shuttle bus will take the first load to Winklepleck at 9:30 pm. No one is required to take the shuttle bus, and can receive directions from the nüCamp representative. (Note from Verna--if you do choose to drive yourself, please drive responsibly and have a designated driver if you choose to partake in the alcoholic beverages.)

--Shuttle bus ride to The Barn of Sugarcreek for wine, cheeses, meats, water and soft drinks. Everyone is invited to bring their local wines and craft beers.

Tuesday Ice cream social to be held at Winkepleck under the pavilion. Serving the ice cream at 6:30pm and toppings will be provided as well.

Wednesday nüCamp will provide a homemade breakfast casserole at 8:30 am under the Pavilion. 

--2 pm A farrier will do a horseshoeing demonstration for anyone interested in watching. 

Thursday Small focus groups at nüCamp in the large conference room (these will be recorded on video as well as audio) and then a Q&A session with Marvin in the new lunchroom. As long as we don’t have any internet issues we are going to do the Q&A session live on Facebook. That way if there are any members that can’t attend they are still able to be involved and ask any questions and get their answer immediately from Marvin.(Waiting to confirm time and then will let everyone know.)  

There will be 4 time slots with 6-10 people per group. They will be an hour each sssion. The individuals who stated they would like to participate in this even will be contacted to set up their time: 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm. 

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Q&A session with Marvin.  

9:00 am - 12:00 pm will be individual (or couples) video interviews based on "Why do you camp with üCamp?"  These interviews will be held in the sales conference room to allow a comfortable and private environment for each camper. These will be 2-5 minute long videos based on each individual's experience. This is also on a volunteer basis and anyone is invited to attend.

Thursday evening John Schmid will be at the campgrounds to sing and we will provide a homemade Amish dinner for everyone (Chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, vegetable, salad and dessert) Dinner will be at 6pm and then the singing will start around 7pm.

Friday Potluck dinner starting at 6:00PM in Winklepleck and movie night to be held on an outdoor movie screen starting at dusk. We will be showing the movie Grease and there will be a popcorn machine also. For the potluck dinner nüCamp will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone.  There will be a drawing for door prizes throughout the evening. The winner must be present to win. 

 

**Miller Septic will be there at 9am on Tuesday and Thursdays to start the camper pumping for anyone who needs it.  Please let the nüCamp representative know in advance so we can let Miller Septic know how many.

***No open display of alcohol is permitted in the campground.
