GFI test

Recently inheirited a 2008 t@b. Did the GFI test according to the manual. Reset button popped out but not will remain pushed in,any ideas? I have taken this trailer on short trips. now that I own it I am interested in taking it across country, starting to learn about it. all advice is welcome.

    Sometimes the GFI also controls other outlets in the trailer, so make sure nothing else is plugged in that might cause it to trip.  Check the connections behind the GFI (without shore or battery power connected) and to the power source.  If loose, they may cause a trip.  Finally, you may just have a bad GFI that needs replacing.

    The GFI will only reset if you are plugged into shore power and the outlet breaker is on and not tripped.

    Drove over to a state park hooked up to 30 amp, that did the trick. Thanks Dalehelman!

    With the proper adapter you can use any standard 15 or 20 amp outlet found around your home.
