Door hand grabs. Or lack thereof.

To the left of the door on the outside there is a hand grab that helps us old folks enter the T@B. But when coming out there is only the door frame. It seems that the frame may not be up to constantly being used by having weight put on it when someone leaves the trailer. Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with this or has made some sort of modification to beef up a hand grab on the inside.

My T@B doesn't have the exterior handle.  For a while I had the suction cup handle, but removed it. I find I wasn't using it anyway.

My T@B wall areas are covered in a type of wallpaper.  Won't the suction cup bars tear off from wall by gripping wallpaper and not attached to fiberglass????  Would like to get a few if they would work?

I need a handle in the shower area for my wife and the suction types I have read about state they are for use on glass or tile.

I emailed Ed  a few weeks ago regarding where in the shower area I might find the best wall support for installing an assist handle, but I have not heard back.

Mr. Rad, any chance you heard from Ed regarding the placement of suction shower handle?  Don't want to bug Ed  again about this issue. Thank you.  Deputy dog

    Nope, no reply

I installed one just outside the shower door. works for my wife moving around inside and even works perfect letting herself down onto the toilet and just as well for getting back up.  yes, the door must be open a bit, but, it is glass anyway so no big deal.  it also doubles as a towel bar.

the mount location is into solid wood, very secure.
