If you go to the top of this page and click on “Activity”, you will see that some of what you post is not private, but can be seen by everyone because it is on the public bulletin board portion of the forum. If you want your message to be totally private (not even we Admins nor Moderators can see private messages), then follow the instructions in the above link. 

And, if you want to make a comment on a discussion, stay in that discussion and use the Comment field at the end of the discussion.

AND! If you want to address a comment or a call out to a member in a regular public thread, type an @ sign before their username followed (with no space) by the first few letters of the username. A drop down will appear with possible names, select the person you want and type your message. Most members set up their preferences to get a pop up and or email when their name is mentioned on the forum. This is especially helpful in a long thread when you want to query or answer a member several comments earlier.

PSA: Bump, also read the explanation about navigating the forum-currently the third from the top on the home page. Please note few members read the Activity (orWall, or Bulletin Board or whatever the heck you call it) so when you post there, it’s not seen by as many eyes as you might wish. OR you meant to send a Private Message (PM) but didn’t use the Message box to the right of the username.

I see plenty of messages on the Activity wall which I fear may not be seen by the intended members. Please give this thread a gander-especially if you’re trying to buy or sell a T@B!
