Can the trailer be overloaded?

Assuming that a tow vehicle could easily handle the load, how much weight can you safely add to the T@B without overloading it?  And, if you add a lot of weight, would it be advisable to increase tire pressure if you're not already at maximum psi?  I'm not talking about hauling a load of pig iron, but maybe 200-300 lbs. of extra "stuff" inside the T@B.

Keep it under the axel rating and you should be ok. I think it's 2900-3000lbs

Thanks, Norm.  Makes sense, which is probably the reason I didn't think of it.

I checked the specs and found the axle rating to be 2900 according to LG.  The heaviest T@B is somewhere around 1800.  I wouldn't want to max it out, but a little added weight should be just fine.

The GVWR on our 2014 CS max is 3400, but we also have 15" tires, not sure how that happened, maybe the specs on the CS models differ. That leaves us 1500lbs I guess.
