Desert Bloom?

Reading on another post about a desert bloom this year.
Can someone tell me when and where?
We have March 16-23 scheduled for a vacation.

Depends on the weather.....but in Southern California spring for the major bloom could mean as early as March.  California State parks page:

But since we are finally getting our winter rains, some flowers start coming out now:
