Finally joining the club!

Hey all,

Meet Bell@luna, our new-to-us 2009 Dutchman Q. Just picked her up yesterday down in Modesto, CA and are now making our way back up to our home in Seattle. 2 days in and we are having a blast! Been lurking and gathering wisdom on this forum for a couple of months and am grateful not to feel like a total noob (just a mostly noob). Thanks in advance for all the counsel and we look forward to meeting some of you on our travels.

Did you just come into Santa Cruz? If not, your twin T@B did just a couple days ago.

    Welcome

@Rad, we are actually in Sweet Home OR today so that must have been out twin down in Santa Cruz. Looking forward to getting down there in the future though. My wife and I went there for the day early in our relationship and we have fond memories of oysters and corndogs!

Glad to have you as part of the family Ben!  And don't feel bad as we all started out as noobs, but with help from others and getting some miles under your belt and a few set-ups the confidence meter jumps up and things start falling into place.  One thing that never changes much is the excitement and yearning for new adventures, new roads traveled and the beautiful horizon and sunsets over the next mountain climbed.

Enjoy your new trailer, welcome aboard and happy trails to you and your family!

Thanks Mike! Yea, my 52 year old ego is a little unhappy with being at the fresh end of a learning curve but even  before our purchase I had learned so much from reading this forum that I had little doubt all would be well. Its a really incredible resource and I'm grateful for your role getting it going as well as keeping the bearings lubed. :-)

Congrats Bentr on the new t@b! I think we might be twins too. I am getting a tab next month, I am 52 and I live in Brownsville right down the road. We might have to compare notes sometime.

It's just down the road from Sweethome Oregon. I thought that was where you are from. You must be out playing. :)

Ah! No, we were staying in Sweet Home (thumbs up to Edgewater RV park spot #4) for two nights on our way back to our home in Seattle. Beautiful part of the country you live in!
