For anyone out there who brings a sewing machine in the T@B but also likes to Boondock here is my first report about the Goal Zero Yeti 400 Lithium. It rocks!!!! I was in for five nights and did some sewing everyday and the battery was still at 85% capacity at the end of the week.

My wife's Pfaff sewing machine would not work properly with a modified sine wave inverter that was installed in a previous RV. We temporarily hooked it up to an older Goal Zero Yeti 400 which was a true sine wave model and all worked properly. I then upgraded the inverter to a true sine wave model. Note that we also had an older Yeti 150 which was not a true sine wave inverter. I don't know if the newer Yeti 150 are true sine wave or not, but something to look for if you are buying.
