Tongue Mounted Cargo Tray Install

My wife rides a tricycle and even though I have a truck I cannot sacrifice the volume to bring it along so I installed a Stromberg Carlson CC-255 storage platform on tongue.

If you perform this modification be very careful with tongue weight.  Platform is rated to 300#

My TV can go as high as 630# and I’m using a proportional brake controller but diving is still of concern with this much added weight.

I offset with some drinking water stored opposite side of axle.

The platform legs are installed opposite of directions bc of Boondock blocking tongue but it does work without bending any parts.  Required drilling required disassembly.  

I (150#) have jumped and swayed on top of platform and it is solid- I moved the trailer even!

    You must remove the platform to take out the propane or battery but removing chalks or reaching the valves and switches is easy,

    The tub cannot be fully opened unless platform is removed.
