multiple batteries

Has anyone ever tried to put two AGM batteries sideways stacked on top of each other in the propane/battery box of a 320S?

I don't know if anyone has done it quite that way, but except for weight or size, I don't see why not.

I recently saw a post on the T@B FB page that had a double decker battery rack to mount 2 6V batteries vertically. I think it was from the same company that sells those nice diamond plate A/C covers (Enhanced Performance Systems?). I meant to bookmark it for future reference as it looked like a neat solution.
