tab 400 with solar maxaire fantastic fan replacement

Does anyone have a step by step replacement guide to replace the fantastic fan with a maxaire so I can ventilate in the rain? There seems to be topics but none detail the nuts and bolts replacement. There was also a thread showing the maxaire overhangs the solar panel a little bit when closed. Is this correct? Mine is a late 2019 model probably the last iteration before the 2020 model which I saw too many changes had been made so I bought the late 2019 and its awesome.

    @Tundra57 I just did replaced the fan in my 2019 400 with the Maxxair. Its not a hard mod just time consuming. I went from the threads I found on this forum.

    Thanks for the input. I have decided to put a cowl over my fantastic fan and replace the speed controller with a PWM type. Both mods are available on this website. When it finally died ill reevaluate. The big decider was loss of solar where the roof cowl overlapped.
