Ozarks Camping

We will be heading to Arkansas for the first time at the end of September; specifically, the Ozarks.  Does anyone have any camping suggestions?

    Suggestion:  White River State Park, just below Bull Shoals Lake dam.  Spacious riverfront campsites with full hookups available. Clean uncrowded restroom and shower facilities.  World class wade-in, bank or drift boat rainbow trout fishing, both spin-cast and fly fishing.  ADA accessible fishing facilities; onsite bait and tackle shop.  Heavy population of whitetail deer visit the campground nightly at dusk. Nearby Gaston's Resort has an excellent restaurant and bait shop/marina/guide service.  Nearby golf course too.
