Would love to find a softer white replacement with less current draw.

Would think you can get 12V LED Bulbs that fit your lamps to reduce power demand. If your lamps have a swivel style base then aim the lamp toward the ceiling (what I do) to dim the LED super brightness.

Sometimes having the bright light available can be helpful.

I changed mine out just this past weekend. I went with a warm white, 0.15A 2 watt lamp. It matches the original 2017 320 T@B style.

Ah perfect! Could you post a photo of them installed? So 0.15A for each or when both on?

Here is a pic of the light on. Storming out this afternoon and all the shades are up, so it's kinda dark and gives a good representation of the light color. It is definitely warmer than the original cool white lamp.

I found a solution to experiment with:
Wax paper crumpled up inside. Here are photos for comparison. Since it is microwave safe, and LED’s are not hot, it might work. Experiment has started!

Yep. Got idea from watching videos of photographers using wax paper in front of their led light panels to soften the light. If it catches fire I will update the thread. 🤣
