Malibu fire distroys the Malibu RV Resort

Malibu RV Resort was destroyed by the Woolsey Fire.  That was one of our favorite places to stay in our T@B.  Please keep all the victims of these fires in your prayers.

    This is all so sad & terrifying to see on TV, which can't possibly  compare to actually being there or seeing it in real life. 

    . . and the Santa Anna winds couldn't have come at a worse time

    I’ve learned today that Malibu RV Resort is re-building/upgrading and they expect to re-open on July 1, 2019!

    One of my favorite places, which is nearby, is Leo Carrillo state beach/ campground. I have camped there since I was a child and still go there often. I learned to surf there. Unfortunately Leo Carrillo remains closed.

    I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and also spent time at Leo Carrillo Beach.  Hopefully all the damage will get repaired soon and life can get back to normal.
