No more need to carry extra materials for the purpose of leveling. If you like to reposition your trailer at your camp site it makes leveling quick and easy. Mine have been in use for over four years.Yes I reviewed this with the trailer manufacturer.
@BogieMeister I love the scissor jacks! I can safely level my 320 using either side and my tongue jack, a three point level. I also noticed that the Tab seems more stable, the floor less bouncy using them. I haven’t regretted this mod!

Dale Helman - I very much like the idea of the scissors jacks, but T@b Zona is booked solid so I will not be able to meet you at this venue. What are the othe options available. I’m a woodworker, I don’t fool with metal fabrication.
While I have your attention, I’d like to say thank you for your mod posts. I have mirroed quite a few of your ideas.
Also, it’s just a guess, but I imagine the bucket covering you hitch is because you have banged your shin more than once.

There’s a new grandbaby in the hatchery, so I don’t suppose I’ll be going anywhere this winter. But, spring destinations are an altogether different matter that are yet to be determined.

@Dalehelman will you be doing this at ÜCamp this year, do you know if affects the warranty in any way? Oh, and does it work on Boondock models? Thanks!

I assume you are talking about the leveling jacks. When I first did this about 4 years ago I discussed it with Marvin and he saw no problem. The mod is easy to return to stock with just 6 nuts and a 9/16” wrench. We probably will not make ÜCamp 2019. We live in Washington State and its a long trip. We hope to attend every other year. It does work on the Boondock. It requires using 30” jacks instead of 24”. Not recommended for CS’s because their stabilizers are mounted farther to the rear which causes the jacks to extend out to far.
Dale, Will you be coming down to Casa Grande after Tabazona? I am considering the scissor jack mod and since I live in CG I was wondering if you would consider helping me with the mod at my house. We live about 2 miles from the park Cindy is proposing. Either way will see you at Tabazona.
@Gaboeh Sorry we have to be in California right after the rally. The install is very simple. You remove 3 nuts on each side. Place adapter plate on the 2 rear bolts. Attach jacks to the 2 remaining bolts. You reuse the nuts you previously removed. Only one tool is needed a 9/16 wrench or socket . It’s a 1 out of 5 in difficulty.
