Does the 400 Spare Tire Mount Bar Provide Any Structural Support?

Hi, I would like to remove the spare tire mounting bar on the tongue of my 400. Does anyone know if it is providing any structural support to the trailer frame? I think NuCamp adds it to the trailer frame, and the frame is built by BAL, so I'm thinking it does not.
Thanks

You are correct; the frame is strong enough by itself to support the rest of the trailer.

Great! I kept the spare under the bed to reduce tongue weight so I dont need the mounting bar.
Thanks!!!!!!!
