Replacing tires on 2005 T@B

I have a 2005 T@B that came with 205/55R16 m&s car tires, which I would like to replace. Any suggestions on an upgrade? I can't find any trailer tires in that size but might even be willing to buy new wheels if I can improve safety, fuel economy, ride............

You might want to speak to your local tire distributor or even call the factory. They told me that they will be installing radial tires on the new trailers.

The Dutchmen T@B uses car tires, and we replaced ours summer before last. We have a 2007.

Ours2007 original tires went out today while hauling on interstate, we are stuck in Gainesville FL trying to find replacement for 205 55r16 original equipment. The tire store we went to said they could not install auto tires on a trailer, even though they had them in stock. No one we can find has this size in stock. Have call into LG, hope they have solution in the morning, until then, any suggestions?

They are supposed to be car tires. Let them know the GVWR is below 2000 lbs.

There is a Little Guy dealer about 50 miles from you in Inverness, FL. I did see that Goodyear has an assurance tire rated for 1356# ($108). I would check with Goodyear and Sears too as both carry the size you are looking for.
