Considering replacing the inverter; T@b400 Boondock lite

I am considering replacing/upgrading stock inverter with the intention to have additional 110 outlets. Is it possible to connect the inverter into the existing wiring or will I run into issues with the WFCO attempting to charge the batteries since it senses 110 power?

After looking through multiple sites, I believe I found my answer........No, you can't. As I suspected the WFCO will attempt to charge the batteries using the input from the inverter. I guess I will have to run a couple of additional 110 drops when I change out the inverter.

Click on the link in my signature. Select Wiring Diagrams from the menu on the top of page. Then select the Owner Modified button to see how I installed my inverter. It's a fairly small 150 watt sine wave inverter and powers every non-appliance outlet in the camper. Works great. Careful review of the drawing will show that the inverter does not power the converter, AC, Alde, Fridge, etc. Switching is fully automatic.

Thank you @klenger for the information. It is very detailed. I am not very skilled at reading wiring diagrams so I will take me sometime to absorb all the details.

@klenger, I see what you did......you disabled the onboard converter. Very nice setup.
