Porch light shade

My blinding porch light needed a shade. I made one from corrugated plastic left over from yard signs. I made a pattern from a file folder.  It’s fairly crude- held together with clear all-weather Duck tape. I used outdoor Velcro to attach it so that I can remove it while on the road.

    Something else you may want to consider and that will help with the bright light issue and also reduce the bugs is to look for an amber awning (porch) light to replace the current setup.  They install the amber lights on the 400’s and would assume they do the same now for the 320’s?  When nüCamp was using the chrome style LED white light fixture I retrofitted the light on my Silvershadow and went to an amber LED light as the bright white LED’s are bug magnets.  

    An amber light is much softer, more comfortable and is less offensive to other campers in the area.  We like the amber light too, as you can leave it on just before dusk if you are away from the trailer and it is a great reference point and allows you to easily locate entry keys, etc. when you return.

    Yes- that would be nice. I don’t really feel competent to do the work, though. And I’m hoping bugs won’t be too much of a problem in the mountains if North Carolina. I might be unpleasantly surprised. I’m sure I can get amber-colored corrugated plastic, though.

    Michigan_Mike. I liked your idea of amber colored light. So I bought 3M amber tail light repair tape at the auto parts store and applied it to the LED light strip.
