Outback Front Tub and (2) 6 Volt Battery Filament Question

I can’t get the older threads to open so I’m opening a new post. Will 2 Trojan 6 Volt batteries fit it a stock Outback tub without significant modifications? I realize I will need to purchase a new battery box. I also would like a picture of the wiring order if they fit. I’m four years on my group 27, time for a upgrade.

Do these links work for you? Not sure about Trojans, but other Outback owners have done the dual battery setup.

Two standard sized GC2 batteries (T-105, T-125) (10.38" L x 7.13" W x 10.88" H) batteries should fit with very little modification, but it depends on how the outback tub is mounted to the frame. If it is mounted tight up against the body of the trailer it might be a little tight. Mine was mounted with a good amount of space between the trailer wall and the edge of the tub, so my two 6V batteries fit perfectly without modification.Jon & Angela | Florissant Colorado | 2017 Outback S
