Curt Spectrum brake controller

Does anybody here have this brake controller installed in their tow vehicle? What do you think? I think it's pretty neat that there is only a little dial thingy around the dash with the module hidden. Amazon has only 7 reviews and most complained about the brightness of the lights from the dial.
I have been tossing and turning around with which brake controller to install. Like something not so bulky but not so crazy about the RF one. Some more input from users will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Haven't used the Curt Spectrum, but I also like the design of it for the reasons you state.
If you haven't already looked at the Redarc, it is a similar design and has good reviews.

@ChrisFix, thanks but I think I will have to remove whole panel depends on where the dial will be placed, due to the depth of the dial. The Spectrum dial has nothing comes behind it except the wire. Looks like the Spectrum can be more of a temporary installation just incase... (change of tow vehicle or something). But it looks like the Redarc is a better seller both on ETrailer and Amazon.
From the videos on installations of both, the Spectrum from Curt seems easier(no drilling required) compare to the Redarc.

Hi, we bought a T@b 320 s in June, and we chose to have the autowbrake controller installed by the dealer on the camper, and a small fob control kept in the tow vehicle. See: https://getautowbrake.com/

@tteam, that's a pretty cool brake controller. Anyway, decided to go with the Curt Spectrum and installed it myself. Took me about half an hour and no drilling, just the 3M sticky thing that came with and ran the wire along the back of panel. We will see how it performs once I pick up the TAB and hook it up...
