Garage clearance for a CS-S - Will it clear a 7 ft / 84 inch Standard Garage opening?

As we are still waiting on the CS-S models to come in ( haven't bought it yet) we want to store it in our garage, but the overhead (pass thru) is 84 inches that is 7 ft. your standard garage. Although the actual ceiling is 100 inches. I'm getting
nervous and not sure it will clear. Just thinking if by swapping out the tires to a 5/12 ? might do it. but still not cretin, it would be an EXPENSIVE mistake if it simply can not be done. Just have to figure out how to "DROP" 5-7 inches
How do you do it? would love to see your pics

Just a thought as I don’t know how tall your camper will be, but we have a 2005 21RS that we keep in a 10’x10’ door opening. I have to let the air in the tires down to 15 lbs to get it in. Perhaps that will give you the clearance you need.2016 320 CS-S 1954 Ford F100 2017 Chevy suburban 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500

@got2blee, please browse the threads listed by @TabberJohn. There are various ideas contained within that include buying wheels (rims) only on the cheap, and changing them for winter storage in the garage with a standard 84" garage door opening. Pics are included for those faint of heart. Thanks @TabberJohn, for your efforts locating those threads. @got2blee do you have to deal with restrictions of an HOA? Multitudinous members store their T@Bs outside under a cover in very cold, very snowy places, with no ill effects. I’m grateful for our carport so it’s somewhat sheltered all year long.John, Judi, Guinness & OD in PDX

After you do your measurements, multiple times, plus more, always check again. We came up with 2 inches of clearance between the highest point( plumbing vent) on our Boondock and our garage door. We pulled it in and out for multiple roadtrips. After returning a couple weeks ago from a 3 week trip I backed her in as usual and knocked the plumbing vent loose off the roof. Our garage door opener for some reason had not retracted the door the full height. After working with it that day for a bit, it never did it again. But we will check every time now before passing under the door header.

thanks: TabberJohn , dragonsdofly jgram2 ,Pintoplumber ,GatorEgg and Mouseketab really everyone! These are all great to know and very helpful. Thanks so much for sharing. Thank goodness our HOA is not too bad, as long as you can store it in your garage its ok and its not an eyesore. I think the CSS is PERFECT for us CANT WAIT.

@got2blee So you’ve figured out how to reduce the 92 “ tall T@B to fit into an 84” tall opening? Are there RV storage places close by that don’t charge an arm and a leg? Or do you have a friend or family where you could “rent” a space? It’s not clear to me how you’re going to get rid of that 8” difference. Alternatively, the T@Gs are shorter would fit just fine. They too are well made and as cute as the dickens.John, Judi, Guinness & OD in PDX

I have yet to figure out how to get my Tab320S into my garage which is exactly 7 feet at the door opening--that is without changing tires, taking the tires off, deflating, etc, etc,---that's just too much work----good luck!

I know those T@G's are adorable!.. but my husband is convinced that he can get it to fit. Trailerboy and a few others were able to do it thanks to Daveincaz. Don't know how to add links yet but here's the pics 💕👍😍 -
Even with the tires off, I’m not clear how you did it, but sure am happy you did! Happy travels!John, Judi, Guinness & OD in PDX

I replace the current trailer tires with 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 and with the front jack almost to the floor. I measured from ground to the highest point with the AC vent took off and I still have 86" ....so it will not get in the garage. What did I do wrong? My garage is 83.5" height. Can you guys help? I saw 9" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 on the market. Can I replace with this Rim or this one is too small to fit ?
Thanks

I fitted my 2022 inside the garage with
a. 12" wheel without tire. I think 12" is the smallest you can fit the brake.
b. 4" drop hitch to tilt the approach angle, to protect the gray water drain.
c. 2x4 wood as a track for 12" wheel. To guide the 12" wheel, protect the gray water and to smooth the transition on the garage curb.
d. remove the 2x12 header trim to clear the vent. I modified the header trim to be removable, and bolt it back when after the t@b.
e. remove the vent cap from the hitch, 4 screws
Mine is NOT the BD version. I guess the BD might have a small height differences.
It was a tight fit through the opening, only less than an inch clearance.
