Clam shell Kitchen Leaks

For anyone who has an older clam shell when it rains heavy my kitchen used to leak and get water all over the place. I was at a RV show where Little guy had their tiny trailers on display and they had a special piece made of high density rubber that covered the hinge crack and kept water out. I called them and asked if this could be used on the T@B and come to find out that it could, so I ordered it and installed it and I haven't had a leak since. You may want to add this to your clam shell model as a great accessory.

I was one of the first ones to add that rubber to my Clamshell hatch, although I bought the rubber myself and had my local dealer install it

If the above cover ever develops a leak, shoot a little caulk in at both ends as this is what they did down at the Sugar Creek factory to eliminate any water migrating in and down the galley hatch edge.
