Lead Acid battery wintertime storage

@Michigan_Mike So tagging along this discussion, I was planning on getting a battery tender, taking the battery cables off the battery and just hooking up the battery tender, leaving the battery in the tub, and plugging into the garage all winter or just plugging it in for a few days every month. I will have my unit covered with an RV cover, but not in the garage or under a carport. I'm mostly trying to avoid having to lift that battery out of the tub. They seem to be getting heavier the older I get, for some reason. . . . Would it be OK to do it this way? TIA2018 Tab 400

This is a lead acid battery that came with the trailer. It is not all that easy for some of us to lift that battery up out of that tub. Thank you everyone for the info. Saving my back it is. . ..2018 Tab 400
